Technoblade is a YouTuber from Minecraft has passed away at the age of 23. His family shared an emotional video of his funeral on his behalf.



The video, which was titled "solong nerds", was posted to his 10 million followers and showed his father calling him "the most amazing kid anyone could ever wish for".



The US internet personality rose to fame by livestreaming and sharing videos of himself playing the sandbox video game.



Technoblade announced to his fans last year that he was diagnosed with cancer.



His father read his farewell message hours before his death. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." If you're watching this. I am dead."



He went on to reveal that his real name was Alex recalling the time he tricked viewers into believing that his name was Dave.



"Thank you all for supporting my content throughout the years," he continued. "If I had another hundred years in my years to live, I believe Technoblade would be my top choice again. These were the most memorable years of my entire life."



The online star, who won Minecraft tournaments, and had a throng of fans praising him in a funny way when playing the game revealed in a February fundraising video that he had received chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb rescue operation after he developed an infected tumor that was painful.



He died of sarcoma which is an uncommon bone and soft tissue cancer.



In August 2021, he revealed his diagnosis of cancer. He stated that he initially believed that the pain he was experiencing was caused by an injury to the muscles due to playing too much. After his arm became swollen the patient was admitted to the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer.



Technoblade's real identity is not known. However, his avatar on the internet was a photograph of an decorated porker.



He has 10.8 million users on his YouTube channel, where he bio reads: "I play video games way too often. While I might not be the best, I have hot elbows..



'Strategizing in heaven'



Following the news of his death, gamers, fans and YouTubers paid tribute on the internet.



J Schlatt recalled, "I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade." "I left work early to participate in the Minecraft tournament with him. I didn't know how to play... but the dude was able to keep us entertained throughout the entire tournament.



"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll always be a legend."



YouTuber Captain Puffy also known as Cara, tweeted: "Rest In Peace Technoblade. He always treated me with the utmost respect.  minecraft servers I was never denied from anything." He could not have been more kind!"



She added: "Thank you for everything you've done for the community. It will never be the same without you."



Tommy Innit said: "Technoblade is an icon. I can't express how thankful I am to have been in his life as a fan to one of his closest friends. I can tell he's planning in heaven on how to beat God ..."



Ludwig Ahgren added, "I've been watching Technoblade for more than an hour." "He was so funny and humble in the most difficult of times. He will always be a role model for me."



Quackity also expressed his appreciation online, writing: "I had to have the chance to express how much admiration I had for Technoblade not just for his massive impact on the world, but also for his humour that is amazing, even in the darkest times." I will miss him so deeply."



Jake Lucky, an eSports player, said "May rest and be at peace."



Technoblade's dad thanked fans in the video of his farewell, noting: "You meant a lot to him."



He explained that a percentage of online orders for the items of his son would now be donated to charity.



The video ended with a written statement from his family, which read: "We, the family of Technoblade wanted all of you to know how much he loved and respected his fans and colleagues.



"From Technoblade's first days online, he was constantly thinking of ways to entertain and reward his followers by giving away prizes online, encouraging good sportsmanship, and of course, sharing his Minecraft adventures for entertainment and laughs.



"Even after his successes He managed to maintain his humour and good nature, and competed with an endearing balance of self-deprecating confidence and confidence."



Minecraft lets players create their own virtual world by digging holes and collecting blocks.



Recent updates to the game have been used by children to explore and improve their professional skills, as well as to tackle real-world issues such as flooding.
